Privacy & Cookie Notice.
Plain-English explanation of what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Coach Kier Performance Centre (coachkierperformance.com). If you have any questions about this notice or how your data is handled, please get in touch:
- Email: Professionalperformance@coachkier.com
- WhatsApp: 07727 302099
2. What information we collect
We collect two broad categories of information:
(a) Information you give us directly
When you submit an enquiry or grassroots registration form on this site, you provide details such as your name, email address, phone number, and the message you write. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry.
(b) Anonymous usage data via cookies
If you accept cookies, we collect anonymous data about how visitors use this site — pages viewed, session duration, and general location (country/region). We do not collect any information that directly identifies you through cookies. See Section 3 for full details.
3. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), loaded via Google Tag Manager (GTM), to understand how visitors use this site. This helps us improve the experience for players, parents, and coaches.
How consent works on this site
This site runs Google Consent Mode v2. When you first visit:
- Analytics and advertising storage are denied by default — no tracking cookies are set.
- If you click Accept on the cookie banner, GA4 sets cookies (such as
_gaand_ga_*) to measure traffic. Your preference is saved in your browser's local storage. - If you click Reject, GA4 operates in cookieless mode — Google may still collect aggregated, non-identifying signals to model traffic, but no cookies are placed and no personal data is sent.
Essential cookies
We set one item in browser local storage (cw-consent) to remember your cookie preference between visits. This is necessary for the consent mechanism to work and does not track you.
Third-party services
The site also loads the following third-party scripts, which may set their own cookies or local storage items:
- Google Fonts — fonts served from fonts.googleapis.com. No cookies are set; Google may log the request.
- Behold.so — used to display an Instagram feed on the homepage. Behold's own terms and privacy policy apply.
4. Changing your cookie choice
You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site (in your browser settings, look for "Clear site data" or "Storage"). The next time you visit, the cookie banner will reappear and you can make a fresh choice.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all sites using Google's browser opt-out add-on.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The only third party we share data with in connection with this site is:
- Google LLC — acting as a data processor for analytics (GA4 / GTM). Google processes anonymised usage data on our behalf, subject to Google's own privacy policy and data processing terms.
Enquiry form submissions are sent directly to Coach Kier Performance Centre and are not shared with any third party.
6. How long we keep your information
Enquiry information (name, contact details, message) is kept for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and for a reasonable period thereafter in case you get in touch again. If you would like your enquiry data deleted, please contact us using the details in Section 1.
Analytics data in Google Analytics 4 is retained for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted by Google.
7. Your rights under UK GDPR
If we hold personal data about you, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your data.
- Right to object — you can object to our processing of your data where we rely on legitimate interests.
- Right to data portability — you can ask for your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at Professionalperformance@coachkier.com or via WhatsApp at 07727 302099.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
8. Legal basis for processing
We process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, responding to enquiries you have initiated. Where you have accepted analytics cookies, we process usage data on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see Section 4).
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The current version will always be available at coachkierperformance.com/privacy. For significant changes we will update the "Last updated" date below.
